Terms & Conditions
1. What freshboard.lol is (and isn't)
freshboard.lol is a platform that bridges the gap between people searching for house parties and people who would love to host them. That is all we do.
We are not the organiser, host, venue owner, caterer or supervisor of any party, and we are not a party to any arrangement between hosts and guests.
2. We are not responsible for what happens at a party
freshboard.lol does not take responsibility for anything that happens before, during, after or in connection with any party found or arranged through the app.
This includes, without limitation: the behaviour of hosts or guests; personal safety, injury or illness; food, drinks or alcohol; loss, theft or damage to property; noise or neighbour complaints; travel to and from the venue; and any legal, police or society matter.
Whether you host or attend, you do so entirely at your own risk and it is completely your own responsibility.
3. Verification has limits
We review a live selfie and check email addresses to reduce fake accounts. These checks do not guarantee anyone's identity, age, intentions, behaviour or safety, and a verified badge is not an endorsement.
Use your own judgement. Meet in a group, tell a friend where you are going, and leave if anything feels wrong.
4. Your responsibilities
You must be at least 18 years old (21 for parties marked 21+) and provide true information about yourself.
You are responsible for following all applicable laws, including rules on alcohol, smoking, noise and public order, and the rules of your building, society or landlord.
Respect consent, other people's boundaries and the host's house rules. Do not share a party's address or other guests' details outside the app.
Only pay a host through the UPI details shown on that party's sign-up form. Never send money to anyone who asks for it in a chat or a direct message.
5. If you host
You are solely responsible for your venue and your party: who you let in, safety arrangements (fire exits, first aid, safe entry and exit), any permissions you need from your landlord, society or neighbours, and compliance with the law.
You decide which guests to approve and you can remove anyone from your party at any time.
If your sign-up form asks for an upfront payment, the arrangement is entirely between you and your guests. You set the amount, you are responsible for refunds and for any taxes, and you must only collect money for the party described.
6. Payments between hosts and guests
freshboard.lol does not process, hold, verify or refund any payment. A UPI ID shown on a sign-up form belongs to the host, and any money you send goes directly to them.
freshboard.lol is not responsible for payments that are lost, disputed, not refunded or made for a party that was cancelled or didn't happen as described. Report anything suspicious to our safety team.
7. Accounts, content and removal
We may refuse, suspend or remove any account, party or message that we believe breaks these terms or the community guidelines, or puts others at risk. Reports are reviewed by our safety team, but we are not able to monitor every party or conversation.
8. Limitation of liability and indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by law, freshboard.lol, its founders, team and partners are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, claim or expense arising from your use of the app or from any party, host or guest.
You agree to indemnify freshboard.lol against any claim made by anyone because of a party you hosted or attended, or because you broke these terms or the law.
9. Emergencies
If you are in danger or there is an emergency, call 112 (India's emergency number) immediately. The app is not an emergency service.
10. Your data
We store your email, profile, selfie (privately, for our safety team only) and your activity in the app to run the service and keep it safe. We do not sell your data. You can ask us to delete your account at safety@freshboard.lol.
11. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; if we make important changes we will ask you to accept them again.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction.
